5 types of drivers that drive us crazy
Do you have a friend that is a good polite person in ordinary life, but something strange happens to them as they are behind the wheel of a vehicle?
I have! Every time I’m on the passenger’s seat in his auto, I am praying all possible gods in the hope that we don’t crash into the car or tree up ahead. The thing is that on the road my friend turns into a race driver without fear and beyond set speed limits. And he isn’t alone in his “strangeness.” There are many other drivers who distinguish themselves on the road, and not in the best way.
Legit.ng, together with Jiji, analyzed the behavior of automobilists in different traffic situations. These are four notorious driver’s personalities that you definitely met or heard about at least once in your life.
Race driver
This driver badly suffers from a lack of horsepower in any vehicle, especially in a personal one. A roaring engine, chaotic gear shifts, unexpected accelerations, and unpredictable slowdowns close to a car ahead ― these are the habits of a “race driver.”
Race driver’s genetic mutations: a daring glance, the right hand is twice as thick as the left due to constant uncontrolled twitching of the gearshift lever, twitching right leg due to nervy engine revvings, and ingrown gloves with cut off fingers.
Mystery
It must not obligatorily be a female. The car that is driven by a “mystery” doesn’t depend on the chromosomes’ quantity of its owner. The vehicle generally does not depend on anything. The “mystery” moves unpredictably and illogically. They are especially scared by the signals of the discontented and the high beam of oncoming cars.
Genetic mutations: the head never turns sideways, a glazed-over look, and the body is pressed to the wheel as much as possible.
Troublemaker
Very often “troublemaker” drives an old car, which is about to give up the ghost. That is why such drivers try to make up for their insufficient vehicle status by behaving like jerks on the road. The arrogance with which the "troublemakers" are changing the lanes in the stream or turn off the secondary highway is disarming.
Although Dwayne Johnson doesn’t drive an old car, he is a good example of a “troublemaker.” The actor didn’t do something too bad but he still managed to “sideswipe another pick up that was parked in the street and destroy the side mirror” ― a trifle but still it’s very unpleasant.
Genetic mutations: they are hidden under tinted glasses, however, we can suggest excess weight and narrow-minded face.
Bully
"Bullies" want to punish other road users by feeling any manifestation of misbehavior. Ready to even get out of the car and go to an open confrontation.
Runaway
To escape from reality and isolate themselves from the inadequacy of the world, the “runaways” listen to music, talk on the phone, or drive under the influence. Thus, the “runaway” switches to certain social networks and distracts themselves from contact with other drivers on the road. This strategy allows them not to get annoyed while driving.
Lindsay Lohan has a terrible driving record thanks in no small part to her escapes from reality with the help of banned substances. That led to plenty of car accidents, a hit-and-run, and a crash to the back of an 18-wheeler.
If you didn’t recognize yourself in any of these driver’s personalities, go to Jiji, choose a new car, discuss a suitable price with a seller, and get it as soon as it’s comfortable for you.
