Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi recently joined millions of heartbroken fans across the world that have mourned the unfortunate demise of American professional basketball player, Kobe Bryant.
The ever jovial comedian seemed to have been terribly hurt by the news as he noted that the deceased sportsman had an influence on his life during his formative years.
Bovi took to his official page on the photo-sharing app, Instagram, with a photo of Bryant accompanied with a short caption.
"This one hurt differently ♂️. This man influenced my teenage years. #ripkobe," Bovi’s caption read.

Since the death of Bryant in a helicopter crash, Nigerians on social media have mocked others that have joined to mourn his passing, with the submission that many of the people who claimed to be hurt by the incident do not know the basketball player.
One of such individuals was found in Bovi’s comment section. The lady identified as @aleroesi said: "Really? and I never saw his pictures on your page before now."
