Kobe Bryant could be used as the new NBA logo as a petition has been written to that effect which already has 200,000 signatures supporting the motion.
With the sporting world mourning the loss of one of their biggest icons, fan support has been everywhere.
The 41-year-old and his daughter Gianna were involved in a helicopter crash that saw seven other people pass away in an incident that occurred in California.
The current NBA Logo is based on the likeness of NBA Legend, Jerry West and his silhouette has been the logo for many years.
West was also the man who drafted Bryant into the Los Angeles Lakers back in 1996 where he played his whole 20-year career with the Los Angeles outfit.
The 18-time NBA All-Star player was initially drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1996 NBA Draft, but was immediately traded the same day for Vlade Divac.
West played for the Lakers back in the 60's with his number 44 retired and hanging in the Staples Center.
He was also general manager of the Lakers in the 90's and 00's, which saw Kobe blossom from a child into one of the greatest players of all time.
The legendary NBA star was asked about Kobe's passing yesterday on CBS News and said it felt like losing a Son.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Jose Mourinho has urged his stars to follow the winning mentality of Kobe Bryant when he became manager of Tottenham last November.
The basketball legend as well as his 13-year-old daughter and seven others died in the tragic crash that occurred in California.
Another reported stated that Kobe Bryant was warned he was going too low before the unfortunate helicopter crash that saw the basketball legend lose his his life.
A total of nine persons lost their lives in the incident which occurred in Calabasas, California on Sunday, January 26.
