- Popular author and lawyer Reno Omokri has dropped some candid words of advice on social media

- Omokri urged people not to offer financial help to anyone that uses the latest edition of an iPhone device, even when they say it is a gift

- The author wondered the kind of people that give a phone to someone who is in pressing need

Nigerian author and lawyer Reno Omokri has once again shared his wealth of knowledge with members of the internet community.

This time around, Omokri came hard for people who are often found using the latest edition of an iPhone.

The author called on his followers not to offer financial assistance to such people whenever they are in need. According to him, such individuals are in want and not in need.

"Never give money to anyone with a latest iPhone, no matter how desperately they beg. Such a person misuses money. They are not in need. They are in want. Big difference! They have money, but prefer to spend it not on their needs, but on their wants," his message read in part.

Speaking further, Omokri said some of these people often claim that the device was given to them as a gift. He, however, wondered how a family member would see their kin in need and decide to hand such person the latest iPhone.

In conclusion, he urged people to learn to live within their means, expand it by getting involved in a business venture and not by begging for handouts from other people.

"Live within your means. And if you don’t like your means, then expand it via a job or business, and not via begging," his post read.
