Another Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu has reportedly taken ill after battling with a stroke. The popular actor was allegedly spotted begging people for money on the roadside in Lagos state.

Legit.ng came across the story after a Nigerian man identified as Bolingo2014 on Instagram shared a video of himself and the actor.

Bolingo claimed that he saw the actor begging for money on the roadside at Oke-Afa in Isolo area of the state. He alleged that the actor became this way after he suffered from a stroke.

In a video shared on Instagram by Bolingo, he called on Nollywood actors to come and help Asuzu out. He noted that he needs their help now, adding that Nollywood should not cry out after the man is dead.

According to him, Nollywood is a disgrace because a star from the industry should receive assistance from them.

Asuzu was seen wiping tears in the video as the man shared his story and called on Nollywood to help him.

The actor was a famous Nollywood actor, musician, rapper, producer, and movie director. He is popularly known as El Cream and he was born in Imo state.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that actress Temitope Osoba recently revealed that she feels bad and terrible when she sees top actors coming online to beg for financial assistance. The actress called on the government to try and help out these creatives because many of them only have acting as their source of income.

She also advised the upcoming and young actors to make sure to invest their money in businesses so that they can have more than one source of income.

Osoba said when actors are not really making it in the industry they should be able to have money to fall back on.
