2020 Grammy: Davido prays for Burna Boy, congratulates him ahead of awards

In November 2019, Legit.ng had reported that Burna Boy was among the 2020 Grammy nominees. The singer had been nominated for the Best World Music Album for his African Giant Album.
As this year's 62nd Grammy Awards is set to take place on Sunday, January 26, Nigerian singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has congratulated his fellow artist on his Grammy nomination on his Twitter account.
Davido did not stop there, the singer went ahead to also pray for Burna Boy. He said the award is already Burna Boy's win in Jesus name.

The tweet had gained lots of reactions since he posted and Nigerians have been hailing the singer for supporting a colleague, also praying that he would also win soon.
Some blessed his prayer with comments, saying amen while others noted that Burna Boy would be bringing the award home.

The nominations in the 84 categories were announced by Gayle King, Alicia Keys and Bebe Rexha on the set of CBS on November 20, 2019.
