One of the top and most respected Nigerian singers, Bukola Elemide, popularly called Asa, is in the country despite living in France and she granted an interview on Cool FM radio station.
The talented musician shared a few details about herself during the interview and her taste in music. According to the Jailer crooner, she is a Marlian.
She said: "I think I'm a Marlian. I love him, I think he is awesome”.
‘Marlian’ has become a term used to describe fans of popular controversial singer, Naira Marley. Naira Marley became a sort of big deal in the Nigerian entertainment industry following his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after he made comments supporting the activities of Yahoo boys on social media.
After he was released, he became a role model for many. Despite his questionable history, Asa has still declared her love for the star and his music.
While being interviewed by Kayla and N6 on Cool FM, Asa said she is a Marlian. She agreed that she is a fan of his music but was not so sure about accepting all the things he stands for.
