Adamawa APC: We accept Supreme Court verdict in good faith

- The APC has accepted the outcome of Adamawa election petition

- As a result, the party called for calm

- Meanwhile, Nigerians in their reactions claimed the recent PDP protests led to the declaration by Supreme Court

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa state says it has accepted Supreme Court verdict against it in good faith.

This was made known in a statement by its publicity secretary, Mohammed Abdullahi.

He said that the party empathised with former governor Bindow and party loyalists over the decision of the Supreme Court.

The party called for calm following the judgement.

Going further, the party also praised itself for going to court to challenge Ahmadu Fintiri's victory.

Meanwhile, Nigerians, like APC, have also reacted to the judgement of the Supreme Court in Adamawa.

Here are curated reactions.

Prince Kunle Adewole: "The PDP seems to be a useless opposition. Could you see how the recent governorship judgement has just tilted because of little protest by the PDP? For the protest, perhaps Ortoms would have been sacked. It means the PDP has been sleeping all this while. So sad."

Ehizogie Igberase Johnson: "APC just wanted to be a national party. That's why they ensured Imo was secured. Without them holding one state in the whole of the southeast is a shame. We understand the political shenanigans!"

Hussaini Yayani Haladu: "Now democracy is at work since the judgement favoured them but when it is contrary, then democracy is in danger. This is the selfishness of the highest level."
