Cardi B's political aspirations given green light by Bernie Sanders

- Cardi B has been given the stamp of approval by prominent politician Bernie Sanders

- Bernie Sanders is a US Senator and believes Cardi would make a great addition to American politics

- This is after Cardi tweeted that she's thinking about going back to school to become a politician

Our girl Cardi B might have a future in politics after all. Senator Bernie Sanders has come out in support of the rapper becoming a politician.

Senator Sanders told TMZ, "Cardi B is deeply concerned about what’s happening in the country.

“She knows what it’s like to live in poverty and struggle, and it would be great for her to bring that experience to politics."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Cardi B, on Tuesday, January 14, released a video where she was excited about the gift Beyonce, another famous US musician, sent her.

In the video, she happily screamed about how she was gifted a whole closet filled with Ivy Park wears.

Ivy Park is an activewear company that was co-founded by Beyonce with Topshop in 2006. It currently operates under Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd.

Recall that the American rapper left many of her Nigerian fans excited after she revealed she was missing Nigeria already.

The 27-year-old rapper whose stay in Nigeria caused quite a buzz both online and offline with her colourful and beautiful opinions about Nigeria and its people seems to have found a home in the country.

The mother of one who clearly had a good and perhaps, wild experience in Nigeria recently returned to the United States after her performance in Ghana. However, the star seems to be missing Nigeria already.
