Nigerian lady trafficked to Lebanon regains freedom

- In the video, she claimed that she was sold into slavery in Lebanon and called for help
A 23-year old Nigerian single mother, Omolola Ajayi, who was trafficked to Lebanon has been rescued by the Nigerian government and is now in the custody of the Nigerian Ambassador in Beiruit, the country's capital.
This was revealed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) via its social media pages.
A few days ago, Ms Ajayi cried out for help via a viral video that got the attention of the Nigerian government.
In the video, she claimed that she was sold into slavery in Lebanon and called for help.
NIDCOM boss, Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Kwara state governor, Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman promptly intervened in the situation.
Efforts are now in top gear to return the lady to her home state of Kwara.

Meanwhile, Princess Moyinoluwa Olubunmi Falowo, Regent of Ibulesoro Kingdom in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state has appealed to youths to explore their diversity to achieve national development.
She made the statement during her recent royal visit to the Yakanajie of Uke Alh. DR Ahmed Abdulahi Hassan in Uke Karu Nasarawa state.
