Harrysong calls out Instagram for cutting down his numerous followers

- Nigerian singer, Harrysong, has taken to social media to complain about the stagnancy of his number of Instagram followers

- The Reggae Blues singer called out Instagram on his page for constantly cutting off his followers

- According to the musician, his followers have still not increased from 1.5 million

Social media validation is a very strong and important thing for a number of people, particularly celebrities who rely on their accounts to reach out to numerous fans and promote their work.

For this reason, many celebs hold the number of their followers, the likes or reactions they get on post as well as their verification badge in high regard.

Just recently, Nigerian singer, Harrysong, took to his Instagram page to call out the photo-sharing application as he accused them of cutting off his followers as they have not increased from 1.5 million in a while.

The singer wrote: “Pls ya’ll help me Tag @instagram they ve been cutting Down my followers for more than 6 months now. Held me hostage on 1.5million. ... forever,, this is one of the quickest and easiest means to reach and connect with my fans around the world :earth_americas:,, but am disappointed at the team and management of @instagram for been unfair to me. Pls tag them ya’ll. This is 2020. :rage:... stay funded for the next post.”
