American rapper Cardi B appears to be taking her quest to become a citizen of Nigeria serious.

Shortly after sharing a post on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, about her plans to get Nigerian citizenship, the Bodak Yellow crooner returned with a different tweet in which she noted that she is trying to pick a tribe to identify with in the country.

After sharing the tweet, many of her followers flooded her comment section with suggestions of becoming Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba.

The engagement on the post got over 75,000 likes, over 9000 retweets and more than 4000 comments.
