Davido reacts to report of taking baby mama Sophia Momodu to Ghana for vacation

Social media was recently set abuzz after photos of Nigerian singer Davido and his babymama travelling together in his private jet surfaced online.
Many had speculated that the father of three went took the mother of his daughter Imade, to Ghana for vacation.
Well, Davido has now dismissed the rumors in a length post shared on his official Instagram page.
Explaining what had happened, Davido disclosed that Sophia had a business deal with the organizers of the same concert he was attending in the country, and he had her fly with him since they were headed to the same destination.

"You all know very well I recently proposed to my girlfriend, chioma recently and it would make no sense whatsoever for me to be doing such. My daughter’s mom had business in Ghana with Afrochella selling Imade’s hair products at stalls and I obviously was booked to perform at Afronation.
I simply gave her a lift to Ghana for the sake of Imade who I didn’t want left in Lagos without her mum. It was either that or she fly economy," his message read in part.
The singer who is set to marry Chioma later this year stressed that he would never hurt her or do anything to disrespect her family.
