Rapper Lexii Alijai dies aged 21, heartbroken Kehlani mourns

Rapper Lexii Alijai has passed away at the tender age of 21. Her cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

Lexii's cousin, Raeish Clark, confirmed her passing in an emotional Facebook post yesterday afternoon.

Raeish wrote: "I'm so lost for words... my beautiful cousin with so much talent & unique soul Lexii Alijai. It's too soon."

Singer Kehlani worked with Lexii in 2015 on a hit song titled Jealous. Kehlani is torn apart by the young rapper's death.

She changed her Twitter header to a picture of Lexii and wrote: "I'm angry, I'm confused, I'm heartbroken, I'm angry, I'm confused. I love you Lexii. My baby was 21!'

Other musicians, including Wale, Bas, Ella Mai, Ari Lennox and K Camp, paid tribute to Lexii last night, remembering her as "a sweet soul".

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported the untimely death of another American rapper Juice Wrld who died at 21 after suffering a seizure.

Juice had stepped out of the plane after arriving from California safely on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Witnesses claimed he suffered the seizure while walking through the airport.
