Mariah Carey has broken a very important record in the music world as she becomes the first artist that has ranked first on Billboard Hot 100 list in four decades.
She made this new feat with her song titled All I Want For Christmas Is You, a track that was released in 1994, Billboard reports.
Carey ruled the chart in the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. When she saw the news, she responded with a subtweet saying ‘Yaaaaaaaaay!!! WE. DID. IT. But…. what’s a decade?’
In response to the news, the ever-green musician posted a video on her Insta stories where she was seen with her team popping champagne beside her private jet to celebrate the feat.
It should be noted that she earlier told Billboard that though they wanted the song to really hit high this year to celebrate its 25th anniversary, they were not expecting it to become No 1 two weeks before Christmas.
“We definitely wanted to kick it into high gear this year with the song to celebrate the 25th anniversary, but I definitely didn’t expect it to hit No. 1 two weeks before Christmas. I just want to thank everybody. I want the world to have the best holiday ever,” she said.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Carey traded in her heels and tight dresses for some time in the snow with her babies. Mom mode requires flats and poofy jackets.

The All I Want For Christmas Is You singer has gorgeous eight-year-old twins; a boy named Moroccan Scott Cannon and a girl named Monroe Cannon.
It was gathered that Mariah and her twins took a trip to Aspen, Colorado to play in the snow and make a few holiday memories.
