Daddy Showkey schools Timaya on the real meaning of fake (video)
- Veteran singer Daddy Showkey has waded into the Timaya drama as it regards wearing fake items
- The music star shared a video on his page in which he indirectly schooled the Balance crooner on the real meaning of fake
- According to Daddy Showkey it is only when a designer imitates another that his creation can be called fake
Nigerian singer Timaya may have ruffled up more feathers than he intended, with a video he posted in which he dragged his colleagues in the entertainment industry, for putting on fake fashion pieces.
Joining others that have reacted to Timaya’s comment, veteran music star Daddy Showkey, recently posted a video on his official Instagram page in which he schooled the former and gave his definition of the word ‘fake’.
According to Daddy Showkey, the only time a designer can be accused of producing fake fashion items is when such a person imitates the works of others.
However, if the designer creates a piece from start to finish, independent of other people’s ideas, then such a fashion piece cannot be called fake.
