Amina Mohammed celebrates making Forbes’ 100 most powerful women in 2019 list
Amina J Mohammed, a Nigerian and the deputy secretary-general of the United Nations, has shown great delight at making a very important list of powerful women in 2019.
In a Twitter post which she made on Friday, December 13, the renowned administrator said she was humbled to be among the people who made the Forbes list.
Some of the people on the list are Mary Barra, Melinda Gates, Ginni Rometty, Susan Wojcicki, Oprah Winfrey, among several others.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that German chancellor Angela Merkel has been named the most powerful woman in the world in 2019 by Forbes.

The German politician was recognised for her role in standing up to US President Donald Trump by allowing more than a million Syrian refugees to enter Germany, a decision that was opposed by the Republican leader.
On Thursday, December 12, Merkel beat Christine Lagarde, president of the European Central Bank to second place with Nancy Pelosi, the first woman to serve as speaker of the House in the US in 2007 ranked third.
In 2018, Merkel also came top on the list with Forbes stating she had a positive impact as the leader of the Christian Democratic Union and as chancellor of Germany.
Popular Hollywood teen actress, Marsai Martin, also made Forbes 30 under 30 list. Aged 15, she started acting at 10, playing as Diane Johnson on Black-ish.
Her acting on the movie took her to limelight as she got many nominations at the NAACP Image Award, the BET Awards and the SAG Awards.
Marsai’s career took a very great turn when she became the executive producer of Little, where she acted alongside Regina Hall and Issa Rae.
