Oprah Winfrey buys iPhone for Nigerian boy to replace his broken phone

Oprah Winfrey, the queen of modern media, has just made a Nigerian boy, Olufemi, happy by buying him a new phone.

Recall that Winfrey visited Morehouse College to renew her scholarship donation to the school even as she was appreciated by the students for the contribution she has made in the past.

As she was leaving the school building, Olufemi and his friend ran to her with giddy excitement, hoping to say a few more words of appreciation to her and take pictures.

While they were posing for a group selfie with her, Winfrey made a very hilarious statement about Olu's phone's screen condition.

She said: "Yeah, that is me! That's me in your cracked phone"

Days after, Winfrey surprised the boy and got him a new phone with the lovely message:

"Dear Olufemi,

"We can't have you here viewing the world thru a cracked screen or a cracked cover. The new camera you gonna love for sure!"

It was gathered that though they share huge political difference, the president and the media mogul were very close friends that Trump declared that if he ever is elected as president, he’d want Winfrey as his vice.

It should be noted that the relationship between the two got bad when Winfrey supported Barack Obama for president in 2008.
