Singer Teni’s sister Tejumola’s dream comes true as she becomes a medical doctor at 24

Popular singer Teniola is a proud sibling as her younger sister, Tejumola Apata, is now a medical doctor.

Tejumola took to her social media page to share the good news and also talk about the challenges she encountered before achieving the huge feat, which she describes as her greatest accomplishment.

Reminiscing on her childhood, Tejumola said that a gun was pointed to her head when she was only 2 weeks old and her father was assassinated before her family’s eyes.

Tejumola and her singer sister, Teniola, are daughters of late Brigadier-General Simeon Olaosebikan Apata, who fought for the Nigerian Army under ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo during the civil war.

Their father, who is also the founder of Apata Memorial schools in Lagos, was assassinated on January 8, 1995. 24 years after her father’s death, Tejumola said that she has been able to achieve her dreams, thereby, making her mother proud.

The beautiful young woman said that she started college at 15, got her bachelor’s degree at 19, started medical school quite early and finally bagged her degree at 24.

Tejumola said she has been very ambitious to experience all the opportunities life offered her and is therefore grateful and proud of what she has achieved.

The singer’s sister said that she would be continuing her medical training in obstetrics and gynecology for the next four years.
