Tammy Abraham undecided which country he'll play for between Nigeria and England

- Tammy Abraham was on target for Chelsea in their 2-1 win over Lille

- Abraham is however unsure which of the two countries he would play for

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was on target for the Premier League side in their 2-1 away win over Lille in Wednesday's Champions League clash.

The 22-year-old fired the Blues ahead in the 22nd minute after receiving a good pass from teammate Fikayo Tomori.

Tammy marked his birthday with his first ever UCL goal, but he seems confused as to which country he wants to commit his international future to.

The forward is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England at the senior level having played for the English cadet teams.

"I love both nations," Abraham said. "To be wanted by both nations, clearly I'm doing something right on the pitch for Chelsea. I just have to keep going. My time will come.

"I'm not sure, I haven't made a decision yet. I'm just focusing on the club now."

According to Sky Sports, the former Bristol City attacker admits that he is fully aware of his Nigerian heritage.

He added that they play a lot of African tunes in their dressing room owing to a number of black players in the team.

"I've grown up in an area with a lot of African culture and African background," he said.

"Even in the changing room nowadays, we play Afrobeats and all sorts. So you're fully aware that Nigeria is a massive country. It's global."

Gareth Southgate is expected to drop his list of invited players for the upcoming qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

The 22-year-old scored the opening goal for the Premier league side but the lead did not stay long as Nigerian star Victor Osimhen equalised for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Brazil forward Willian sealed the victory for the Stamford Bridge side in the 78th minute with a superb volley.
