Ihedioha takes Okorocha to court over alleged incitement

- The Imo state government has sued Senator Rochas Okorocha to court over alleged incitement against the administration of Governor Emeka Ihedioha

- Okorocha has also been accused of making some seditious statements against the state government under Governor Ihedioha through his radio station, Reach FM

- The former governor is to appear before the court for prosecution on Tuesday, October 8, in Imo state

The Imo state government under Governor Emeka Ihedioha has sued Senator Rochas Okorocha to a magistrate court for alleged incitement against his successor's administration.

The suit filed at the Owerri district of the magistrate court was accusing Okorocha of making inciting statements against the state government through his radio station, Reach FM, Daily Trust reports.

Even more, the state government claimed that one of Governor Ihedioha's aides was physically assaulted by thugs as he was serving court processes at Okorocha’s residence.

The former governor is to appear before the court for prosecution on Tuesday, October 8, in Imo state.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Okorocha had questioned the establishment of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and what the group is agitating for.

Okorocha, who is the immediate past governor of Imo state, said he did not know what the IPOB is advocating for till date.

The former governor, in an interview, said he would only consider joining the group if he could be convinced on why he must join IPOB and where they are taking the Igbos to.
