England vs Bulgaria ended 4-0 in favour of the Three Lions in a Euro 2020 Group A clash played at the Wembley Stadium.

Captain Harry Kane scored a hat-trick and Raheem Sterling also registered his name on the scoresheet to give Gareth Southgate's side a comfortable win.

Kane's 19th minute goal was ruled offside after Sterling was caught a few inches off the Bulgarian defence.

But Bulgaria gifted England a Wembley lead in the 24th minute after the goalkeeper gave away possession cheaply to Sterling who gave a cut-back to Kane for the tap in. 1-0 to the Three Lions.

Marcus Rashford won a penalty two minutes after the restart as he was fouled by a Bulgarian defender and Kane stepped up to convert the resulting spot-kick to make it 2-0.

Sterling steered England's third over the line from Kane's assist in the 55th minute and gave Gareth Soutgate's side an unassailable 3-0 lead.

The Three Lions were not finished there, Kane was fouled inside the 18-yard area by Kristian Dimitrov and the Tottenham striker completed his hat-trick to make it 4-0 and his 25th goal for England.

Popov drew an athletic save from Jordan Pickford who did not have much to do from a set-piece in the 74th minute.

But it was England all the way as they settled for a 4-0 win and take on surprise group leaders, Kosovo on Tuesday, September 10, at the same venue.
