Joshua Beckford: Kaduna state deputy governor receives 14-year-old genius

- Hadiza Balarabe, the deputy governor of Kaduna state, has officially welcomed 14-year-old genius, Joshua Beckford to Nigeria

- The young genius is in Nigeria to build a community secondary school in Kaura local government in the state

- Beckford will be working with the Mentoring Advocacy Network (BMAN) to actualise the building project

Hadiza Balarabe, the deputy governor of Kaduna state, has officially received the 14-year old genius, Joshua Beckford from UK, who is also the youngest to get into Oxford University at 6 years old.

The whizkid is just a rarity, he is an inspiration to many, especially children who aspire to great things in life.

The young genius is in Nigeria to build a community secondary school in Kaura local government of Kaduna state.

He will be working with the advocacy group to build a school in Kaura local government in the state.

Recall that Legit.ng earlier reported that Beckford who was named as one of the most intelligent children in the world as he graduated from the prestigious Oxford University at age 14 was expected to visit Nigeria.

The purpose of the visit was to raise fund for the building of a school project in Kaduna state.

The chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, among other Nigerians tweeted and retweeted about the expected visit of the young genius.

It should be noted that the boy was diagnosed with high functioning autism, was named as one of the most intelligent children in the world.

At the age of six when most kids are still learning how to read and count, Beckford was intellectually active to attend one of the best universities in the world.

It was also gathered that at the very tender time when he was just 10 months old, Beckford could already read, write and understand the alphabet.

Little wonder that by the time he turned two, he could read fluently and he could speak Japanese by the age of three.
