Unconfirmed reports indicate police seize Fatoyinbo’s passport, search home
- The home and office of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo was reportedly searched by police officers
- The embattled cleric was also asked to report daily to the police as investigation continues
- Unconfirmed reports also claimed his international passport was seized
Detectives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department have reportedly conducted a search of the home and office of embattled pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
According to Daily Sun, the international passport of the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), was also seized as part of his bail condition.
The pastor who is facing investigation over alleged rape was released two days after he was initially invited for questioning.
Fatoyinbo was also made to provide two level 16,officers with landed property in Abuja, before he was allowed to taken on bail.
A source privy to the investigation claimed said the search of the cleric’s house was to find evidence against him.

The source said: “The home of the pastor and his office were searched today by detectives investigating the matter, but I cannot tell you what they found, but defiantly they were looking for incriminating documents and other evidences that was revealed by witnesses during the discreet investigation conducted in the matter.
“Also part of the bail conditions given to pastor Fatoyinbo is that he provides two level 16 officers who have landed property in Abuja, and that his international passport to be deposited with the police which he has done”
Legit.ng had reported that Fatoyinbo was on Wednesday, August 28, released by the police after two days of questioning.
He is, however, expected to return today, Thursday, August 29, to the Force headquarters for further interrogation.

Fatoyinbo is being interrogated by detectives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja over an allegation of rape by Busola Dakolo, a celebrity photographer and wife of popular musician, Timi Dakolo.
It was also learnt that Dakolo was invited for an interview with the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Mike Ogbizi.
