Kind man reaches out to struggling family of 11 and inspires social media users

BI Phakathi has blessed a family of 11 with groceries and supplies. The large unit live in poverty, in a dilapidated house. Social media users were inspired by his kindness.

Phakathi's philanthropic adventures have found him helping a destitute family of 11. This family includes small children and the elderly. One of the family members was injured and struggling to walk. Phakathi offered to take them to the local Shoprite and buy them some supplies.

At the store, the grateful family loaded the cart with food, nappies and other much needed supplies. When they were done, Phakathi made them go back to take some more as he felt that they had not taken enough. While they were shopping, they bumped into a woman who recognised Phakathi from his previous charitable deeds.

After they finished the shopping, Phakathi took them back to their house and prayed with them.

Social media users were touched by his kindness. Facebook user Carol Montgomery said:

"You are just such an inspiration to me. Words cannot describe how greatful I am for what you are doing in South Africa. Tears of joy. Thank you man of honour. God bless your beautiful heart"

While James Marsh said:

"Wow this brings joy to my heart to see such unbelievable kindness. You don't have to be a millionaire to show kindness"

Rinda Meyer said:

"God bless you thank you"
