Buhari, ex-VP Namadi Sambo meet in Kaduna as president commissions projects
- President Muhammadu Buhari pays an official visit to Kaduna state, where he commissions some projects
- While one of the projects was implemented by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, the other was sponsored by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)
- Among those at one the events was Namadi Sambo, a former vice president of Nigeria
It was an exciting day in Kaduna as most parts of the state lightened up with the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari, who used the opportunity to inaugurate a water supply expansion project in Zaria.
The president, according to Femi Adesina, his spokesperson, also commissioned the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) centre of excellence at the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.
The event was attended by Nigeria’s former vice president, Namadi Sambo and the emir Zazzau, Shehu Idris.
Others at the event included the governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and the minister of environment, Muhammad Mahmoud.
Also, the commissioning of the CBN centre of excellence was attended by the vice chancellor of the institution, Prof Ibrahim Garba, the governor of the apex bank, Godwin Emefiele, and Governor El-Rufai.

Legit.ng earlier reported that President Buhari was planning to inaugurate the centre of excellence in Zaria.
According to the report, the centre sponsored by the CBN, was cited at the Samaru campus of the institution.
