2019 Teen Choice Awards: Winners and all the details

How do you feel when your favourite actors and personalities receive awards for their best performances? Well, that is practically what some fans experienced during the 2019 Teen Choice Awards ceremony. There were several awards given to Hollywood's top stars of the year in different categories.

From music to movies and TV stars, it was pomp and colourful as top celebrities in different fields gathered to witness some of the most talented and best entertainers on earth. So, who were the winners and losers in the big occasion?

2019 Teen Choice Awards

The Teen Choice Awards is an annual ceremony held to honour the top celebrities in various fields including music, film, sports, TV, fashion, and social media. This year's event was the 21st edition of the ceremony since its inauguration back in 1999.

Where was it held?

The ceremony took place at Hermosa Beach, California, United States of America on Sunday 11 August. Famous actress and singer, Lucy Hale hosted the live show alongside YouTuber David Dobrik as a co-host. There were also some entertainment pieces to spice up the event including performances from OneRepublic, Mabel and Jordan McGraw and Sarah Hyland.

How are the winners determined?

Usually, viewers in the USA vote for the nominated celebrities in each category to determine the respective winners. Fans aged 13 and above are the only ones allowed to vote. The voting process takes place through various social media sites, like Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube.
