Pop singer Naira Marley recently became the first African celebrity to break a particular record on Instagram - the musician got over 40,000 comments after just five hours of sharing a post.

Naira Marley himself had requested his fans to help him achieve this feat. As their 'reward' for helping him accomplish this, he promised to release the music video for his hit song Soapy.

Many Marlians quickly rushed to his page to leave a comment. Some even commented more than once. Eventually, the post had over 40,000 comments in record time.
