UNICAL post-UTME: University staff seen beating candidates (video)

- A video showing the conduct of a staff of University of Calabar (UNICAL) is currently make round online

- The man had taken out a cane to whip post-UTME students in the midst of what looked like stamped

- Social media users condemned the action of the staff

A video is currently going around in the internet community that captured an ugly scene from a post-UTME screening that held within the premises of the University of Calabar (UNICAL).

Social media user @iamleslie_chydi shared the video on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, and posed a question as to why the students would be made to go through such treatment.

In the video, an unidentified man spotted with what appeared to be a slim stick, could be seen using it to beat and wade off a teeming pack of students.

"Terrible organizational skills by UNICAL Post-UTME coordinators. Why would they treat people's children like this?," he said.
