Nigerian singer Tekno has taken to his social media page to clear the air regarding his connection to a controversial truck that was filmed on camera conveying half-clad ladies.

Some days ago, social media users were outraged after a video of a transparent truck conveying scantily dressed ladies on the streets of Lagos, around the Lekki toll gate area, hit the internet.

Although, there had been initial speculations that an advertising agency was behind the development, it was later discovered that music act Tekno was responsible it.

In a statement shared on his social media page, the singer explained that it was a scene from a music video shoot and they had only hit the road around that time because they had to convey the girls to the next location for the shoot.

He made it clear that they were not in any way advertising for a club or deliberately dancing unclad on the streets.
