Buhari’s WAEC certificate: Keyamo brags as he displays president's result

- Festus Keyamo has displayed President Buhari's WAEC certificate for all to see

- The human rights lawyer noted that the contents of Buhari’s certificate, issued directly by Cambridge, UK, tallied with the one issued by WAEC

- The PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, are challenging Buhari's victory on the grounds that he did not have a school certificate to be qualified to run for election

One of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has mocked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on social media.

The lawyer displayed the West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate of President Muhammadu Buhari which has been trailed with so much controversy.

Displaying the results on Twitter, Keyamo said Buhari's certificate was issued directly by Cambridge, UK, when he applied for it a couple of weeks ago.

According to him, the biggest dummy that the opposition PDP sold to its supporters since 2015 has collapsed like a pack of cards.

The opposition party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, are challenging President Buhari's victory in the 2019 poll at the election tribunal. The president's WAEC certificate is one of the major issues being contended in the court.

The petitioners claimed that the president did not have a school certificate for him to be qualified to run for election.

During cross examination at the presidential election tribunal, Oshindeinde Adewunmi, a senior official of the WAEC, confirmed the president's secondary school results.

Adewunmi who is one of the witnesses of Buhari told the tribunal on Wednesday, July 31, that Buhari said the president obtained a Cambridge University WAEC with five credits.
