APC expels national vice chairman Abdulkadir who asked Oshiomhole to resign
- APC has expelled its national chairman in the northwest, Inuwa Abdulkadir, over anti-party activities
- Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the party's spokesperson, made this known on Thursday, July 18
- Abdulkabir had asked the the party's national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, to resign his position
Inuwa Abdulkadir, the northwest zonal vice chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has been expelled by the leadership of the party over anti-party activities.
The Nation reports that the party disclosed this in a statement issued by its national publicity secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, in Abuja on Thursday, July 18.
Legit.ng gathered that Issa Onilu said the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party decided to uphold the disciplinary action imposed on Abdulkadir by his ward.

He said that the decision would, however, be conveyed to the NEC of the party which according to its constitution has final decision on the expulsion of officers of the party for further action.
The statement reads: “The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has upheld the disciplinary actions of Magajin Gari “A” ward, Sokoto north local government, and the party’s Sokoto state executive committee on the party’s national vice chairman (northwest), Inuwa Abdulkadir over anti-party activities.
”The party organs in Sokoto state have earlier expelled Inuwa Abdulkadir and passed on their recommendation to the NWC for ratification. Abdulkadir failed to utilise the opportunity to defend himself before the disciplinary committee set up by the NWC to look into the various petitions received against certain members of our party."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the deputy chairman of the APC, Senator Lawali Shuaibu, demanded the resignation of the national chairman of the ruling party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
