Many Nigerians have been crying out over the trend of reality stars being given millions of naira gift by organisers of the shows in conjunction with corporate organisation while students with academic excellence gets ridiculous amount of money for their brilliancy.
A similar scenario been played out again when the best graduating student of department of civil engineering from Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti, is awarded a cash gift of N100 only. For emphasis and clarification, the cash gift amount was also spelt out in words, one hundred naira only.
