Nigeria is no doubt a very religious country and an average citizen does not joke with the words of their spiritual leaders. However, a person’s favourite pastor can be involved in terrible scandals leaving their fans unsure of how to react.

Just recently, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, shared his opinion on the now viral allegations levelled against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly.

The COZA pastor had been accused on several occasions of molestation and abuse by ladies. Many Nigerians on social media have had mixed reactions to the issue.

However, Pastor Adeboye broke his silence on the case as he explained that he feels compelled to speak on it. According to him, there is nothing hidden that will not be made known because sooner or later, one’s sins would find him out.

The pastor also added that when a woman accuses someone of something, people are most likely to believe whether she is right or wrong.

Legit.ng had reported the story of singer Timi Dakolo's wife, Busola Dakolo, accusing Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of molesting her at the age of 17 in her father's house when he came visiting. The mother of three in a video that has gone viral levelled the allegation on the youthful looking cleric.

It was also reported that another lady who claimed to be an ex-staff of COZA has accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of molesting her too. The woman who pleaded anonymity, narrated how she had made a usual call to the man of God’s house in other to discuss activities relating to the church and what needed to be done. She said at some point while she was seated on the couch, Fatoyinbo, whom she had always seen as a role model, joined her on the sofa and started to touch her inappropriately.
