However, as time goes on, these movie veterans gradually become forgotten and are not able to afford the lifestyle befitting for their status. At other times, some of them even get bedridden with serious ailments.

Veteran actress, Ify Onwuemene, is reportedly down with cancer. According to several reports, the Everyday People star has had fluids removed from her stomach and her womb removed due to the severity of her sickness.
The actress reportedly needs financial assistance to help her get better medical attention.
The actress was identified by her colleague, Grace Ama, after a viral video of the sick woman hit the internet. In the video, Onwuemene was seen asking for music star, Davido.
She joked that her sickness will disappear if the Davido comes to sing by her bedside. The singer had also asked for Nigerians to help him locate her.
This is sad. We hope she gets the much needed financial assistance.
Just recently, Legit.ng reported that comic actor, Baba Suwe, paid a thank you visit to Iya Adura for donating to his health.
Baba Suwe had become a topic of discussion after he cried out for help regarding the state of his health.
After his cry for help, several well-meaning Nigerians heeded the much loved actor’s call and contributed to the financial aid needed for his medical trip abroad.
Among those who significantly contributed to the actor’s medical aid was popular cleric, Iya Adura Esther Ajayi, who gave him the sum of N10 million.
