A Nigerian man identified as Gabriel Akhuetie has narrated his experience while trying to gain admission into the university. The man shared his story while celebrating his graduation from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.
The young man had revealed that he called his certificate from the university on Thursday, May 16. He explained that looking at the piece of paper reminded him of how difficult it was for him to gain admission.
Akhuetie, who noted that he had graduated with a second class upper in mass communications, explained that it took him five tries to finally gain admission into Ahmadu Bello University.

He stated that he had also written the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams eight times. He said the passing JAMB was not the tricky part because the lowest he ever scored was 235.
The young man expressed that the trick was gaining the admission after passing the Joint Admission Matriculation Board exam. He said he was always rejected for one reason or the other.

Akhuetie explained that he had prayed to God, fasted and cried at night because he was ashamed of himself, he added that he never gave up because he wanted to prove to himself that nothing was wrong with him.
According to him, some of his friends had made fun of him, telling him that school was not for everybody. He also talked about a time his uncle and his wife told his parents that their son was under a spiritual attack and offered to take him to a prophet that would save him from it.
The young man thanked God for the achievement and bragged about being a proud second class upper graduate.
