I get paid to attend events - Toke Makinwa reminds the online community
A popular Nigerian media personality who is much known for making appearances in a lot of social functions has disclosed that she also parts with handsome rewards for showing face at such gatherings.
It would be recalled that well known radio girl Toke Makinwa, has revealed in the past that she usually gets paid to attend most of the social gatherings she attends.
However, it appears members of the online community are quickly forgetting and Makinwa wasted no time in reminding those that care to bother about where she goes or does not go.
The radio star took to her Instagram story in a post in which she disclosed that 90% of the time she is spotted at events, she was paid to grace such gatherings with her presence.

She added that this has been so because she has been able to build a bankable brand over the course of the years. According to Makinwa, attaining the height has not been easy and as such there is no way she would be making appearances free of charge.
She said: "90% of the time you see my pretty face at events, I got paid to be there. I have worked so hard over the years to build a bankable brand. It has not been easy and it definitely is not free."
