Speaking on Mubaraq's outstanding performance, the director, Right Path Arabic Institute, Ustadh Yunus Al-Imam, said since the institute was founded in 2012, nobody had achieved the academic milestone recorded by him.

He said: "This is the first in the history of the institute for any graduating student to score over 90 per cent in the advance level category. Mubaraq is really endowed by Allah with wisdom, knowledge and humility. I want to urge our students to emulate him.

"He has proven to be an excellent student and this is why he was given double promotion. He has memorised the whole Qur'an. I pray Allah to put blessings in his certificate and others who are graduating today.

"I want to also commend other graduating students for their resilience and commitment to their studies. They are: Shereefdeen Akinola, Shakirullah Ahmad, Abdur-Rahman Mahroof Awwal, and Imran Abdul-Azeez."

Earlier in his welcome address, Ustadh Yunus Al-Imam, expressed that the journey towards achieving the third graduation of the institute has been full of successes and challenges.

He said: “The Right Path Arabic School introduced its programme called “Arabic Made Easy” in a unique way by teaching students from the basic Arabic and Islamic courses to the advance Arabic and Islamic courses. With this, we have trained more than 450 students how to read, write and understand Arabic language languages very well.

"One of the identified challenges is ignorance, from the past years, we have trained and tutoured our students on how to be peaceful and pious Muslims in the society and serve Allah with knowledge and proofs.

"We also observe the challenges of educating, training and bringing up pious and obedient children especially in this kind of society with mixed cultures, level of Islamic understanding and the deception of enemies of Islam and more importantly, to balance the education received by the children from both home and our Modrasah, we initiated a programme tagged ‘Terbiyah Class’.

"In this class, issues relating to parenting skills, children upbringing and Islamic education according to the way of our Prophet, his companions and past pious predecessors were able to train theirs."

Speaking at the event, the president, Lagos area council of the Muslims Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Dr. Saheed Ashafa, advised parents and guardian to enrol their children and wards for Qur’an and Arabic education to instil in them the fear of Allah for whatever knowledge they have learnt to be beneficial to them.

Ashafa said: “Today’s event is in fulfilment of one of our purposes in life which is the acquisition of knowledge about Islam to be able to worship Allah and propagate the religion of Islam on earth.

"For the graduands, the certificates they obtained today is an addition that is more significant to other worldly certificates because with Islamic and Qur’an knowledge, we get closer to Allah in worship.

"The knowledge of the Qur’an and hadith of the prophet will set us on the right path and enable us to apply whatever knowledge we have acquired to the service of mankind and to the pleasure of Allah.
