Success Adegor is the young girl who got sent home from a Delta state school for not being able to pay her fees after being flogged. The little girl became a viral sensation after she expressed her bitterness on being sent home despite being punished.

Legit.ng had a one on one chat with the brave little girl who brought attention to her school and the entire state. In this interview, her home was visited to see the kind of environment the little girl comes from and what prompted her decision to keep getting flogged in order to have the opportunity to stay in school.

In the video that went viral, Success was deeply angered by the fact that the school sent her home after flogging her. In the video, the brave and bold girl attested to the fact that she had not paid her fees but would do so over time. However, the school’s administrative decision to have her flogged and sent home did not sit well with the poor child who stalked off after relaying what happened.

Adegor’s outburst seemed to have brought good luck to the entire family as well as her school. Unfortunately, the head teacher of the school got suspended while Stephanie Idolor, the young lady who videoed Success has demanded for a share in all that the young girl has got. According to the video maker, she should be rewarded for bringing the girl’s story to the social media.

In the interview conducted by Nomso Obiajuru of Legit.ng, Adegor confirmed that she has received calls from the United States of America and the United Kingdom. She also made it known that she has not been promised a visa or a passport. She said that she was simply congratulated and there’s nothing more to that.

The little girl was asked about her interest in education, she answered by saying she is aware of all the good things people can become with a proper education as well as the bad things that can happen to those who are not educated. On this note, she stressed that she would like to become a good person in the future.

Adegor’s story is indeed touching as Legit.ng had the opportunity to meet the family members of the little girl. The young girl said that her mother had urged her to go to school that Friday since the week was almost over. She promised to give her the unpaid school fees later but she was disappointed when she got flogged and was eventually sent home. She mentioned that she was unaware of the young lady recording her as she was enraged on her way back home.

The sharp girl said that she does not like her school but her interest in education far outweighs that. She confirmed that other children with unpaid fees got sent back home too. Adegor mentioned in her interview that she would like to be a lawyer and a pastor. She is interested in law because she would like to support the good people. She mentioned that she would let her client lose a case if she got to know he is bad. She said that she wants to be a pastor so that she can preach the gospel.

She revealed that her father is a bike rider while her mother is a petty trader. She advised children to stay in school as they do not know the plan of God for their lives. It should be noted that Adegor got sent out of school because of nine hundred naira.
