Atiku calls on supporters to vote PDP in coming elections

- The PDP presidential candidate Atiku has issued a fresh message to Nigerians ahead of guber election

- The former vice president, in a new video, called on his supporters to vote PDP across levels during the March 9 election

- Atiku also expressed gratitude on the love and support showered on him during the recently conducted presidential election

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23 presidential election, has called on his supporters to come out en mass in the March 9 election and vote candidates of the party across levels.

Atiku made the call on Thursday, March 7, in a brief video posted on his verified Twitter handle ahead of the governorship and state House of Assembly elections.

The former vice president also expressed gratitude on the love and support showered on him during the recently conducted presidential election across the country.

He also called for peace during the election, vowing that the "great match for the victory of Peoples Democratic Party cannot be stopped.''

Atiku, who alleged ''criminal conspiracy by the incumbent government'' in the last election, urged his supporters to come out in their numbers and vote for his party.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a three-man panel set up to hear the motion ex-parte filed by the presidential candidate of the PDP Atiku and his party commenced hearing on Wednesday, March 6.

At the hearing, Atiku and PDP's attorney, Chris Uche (SAN), argued that the presidential candidate should be allowed to inspect materials used for the February 23 presidential election.
