Pastor Lukau denies raising the dead, says God can use him as tool
- Pastor Lukau claimed to have resurrected the dead earlier this week
- Now, he denies his ability and diverts further questions to the man's family
- He says God can use him as an instrument for resurrection but it has never happened before in his church
After getting many internet users all worked up about bringing a dead man back to life, the infamous Pastor Alph Lukau, now denies having such powers and says the man was actually already alive, Legit.ng found.
Lukau claims he was delivering a sermon when he was told that the coffin had arrived at the church. In an interview with Thabiso Thema of PowerFM, he says that the coffin started shaking when it was brought into the church, and that’s when he knew the person inside was alive.
He adds that the congregation started praying for the man and brought him into the church.
The man in the coffin was allegedly brought to the church by his family who wanted the pastor to pray for him in the hopes of a miracle.

The pastor thus diverted any further questions to the man’s family, who he claims believed that God would have the power to bring him back to life.
Lukau says God can use him as an instrument to resurrect the dead but he himself does not possess the gift. He added that this was the first incident of someone being brought back to life in his church.
Pastor Lukau has come under great scrutiny this past week as many internet users failed to believe his story. The popular and equally controversial Prophet Mboro claimed he would confront Lukau about his claims, and released a statement in joint efforts with other religious and civil society groups.

After the video went viral, a new trend was born on social media called the Dead Man Challenge. It entails people trying to mimic the man who was allegedly raised from the dead by the supposed man of God.
