President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, February 25, paid a visit to the where he received updates on the performance of the ruling party in the presidential election.

During his visit in APC headquarters, President Buhari met with party bigwigs like the director of election planning and monitoring, Babatunde Fashola, the director of contacts and mobilization Hadiza Bala Usman, the director general of campaign council, Rotimi Amaechi and the APC's national chairman, Adams Oshiomole.

The president was given updates on the performance of the ruling party in the presidential election.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared President Buhari, as the official winner of the February 23 presidential election held in Yobe state.
Legit.ng gathered from the official announcement made by the commission that Buhari won a total number of 497,914 out of total valid votes of 559,365.
On the other hand, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP scored 50,763. Atiku has lost two states completely so far (below 25% threshold): Yobe and Gombe.
