Adam Zango switches support from Buhari to Atiku

Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, popular Kannywood entertainer, Adam Zango, has withdrawn support for President Muhammadu Buhari and upheld Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party.
Zango who made this known on his Instagram page announced his appointment as a PDP ambassador.
Zango was seen with Atiku in a photograph where they raised their hands up together. The entertainer called on his supporters to join him in the PDP.

According to him, “Today I have joined the PDP and together we shall make sure Atiku is Nigeria’s next president. I call on you all my supporters to join me and campaign for Atiku henceforth.”
Zango, a prominent member of the APC Kannywood campaign project, however, did not give reasons why he left the Buhari camp or why he is joining his colleagues in the PDP camp.

A prominent member of the PDP wing of the Kannywood, Fati Muhammed, welcomed the actor, praising him for making the move.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Adam Zango, a popular Hausa actor, announced his plans to end his career in the Hausa movie industry Kannywood.
Zango made his decision public via his official Instagram page, where he wrote in Hausa: "Special Announcement: I am writing this message to you all fans, producers, actors, directors and to also beg that you forgive me, from today I have quit acting. I will now only concentrate on singing and producing songs."
Sources close to the multiple-award winning actor commented on the development saying he has just suspended acting and not quitting it completely.
