Atiku will win, Buhari's integrity is fake - Obasanjo

- Former president Olusegun Obasanjo said Atiku Abubakar will win the presidential election

- The former president also said President Buhari's integrity is fake

- The elder statesman added that he has forgiven his deputy, Atiku, and supports him in the coming election

Former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has reportedly said he is sure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s presidential candidate and his former deputy, Atiku Abubakar, will be elected as president in the coming elections.

The elder statesman, who recently took a swipe at the administration of Muhammadu Buhari, described the president's integrity and morality as fake and unbankable.

The New Telegraph reported that the former president made this statement on Wednesday, January 30, at the Island Club 2019 Quarterly Business Lecture held in Lagos state.

Obasanjo also said he has forgiven Atiku and he won't be retracting his recent remarks on President Buhari and his government.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Alhaji Balarabe Musa said that the country does not have the condition for a free and fair election and that only money will determine winners of the 2019 general elections.

The former governor of old Kaduna state also said the support Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was giving to Atiku Abubakar was because he was afraid of what President Muhammadu Buhari will do to him.
