Burial poster of Nigerian actor Gbenga Akintunde who died after having malaria

Nigerian actor Gbenga Akintunde who died after he had malaria is set to be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 15. The burial details of the actor was released in a poster on Thursday, January 10.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that the celebrated Yoruba actor had passed away on Thursday, January 3.

The tragic news of his death was announced on social media by his Yoruba movie colleague Kunle Afod.

The deceased, popularly known as Burger, is survived by his wife, Bose, and children, Boluwatife and Bukunmi.

It was gathered that his wake would be held at White House in Toyin Street, Ikeja area of Lagos state on Monday, January 14, around 5pm. His candle night service would also be held at White House on Monday around 7pm.

The funeral service would take place on Tuesday, January 15, at The African Church Jehovah Jireh Parish on Matthew Street, off Ojuelegba Road in Surulere, at 10am. The interment follows at Atan Cementry, University Road, Yaba.
