- Femi Adebayo
Femi Adebayo is one of the most famous alumni of the University. He studied Law before he went into acting and became one of the most prominent Nollywood stars. - Ezekiel Adebiyi
Ezekiel is a prospective and successful computation biologist and researcher, one of the most prominent research scientists in this field in Nigeria. He graduated from the University of Ilorin in 1991 and received an award as the most promising and outstanding students of the entire University. Now, Ezekiel is the President of the Nigerian Bioinformatic Society and the Vice President of the African Society for Bioinformatic and Computational Biology. He’s the first Bioinformatics Professor in West Africa.

- Abdul Rasheed Na’Allah
Abdul Rasheed is a popular author who’s known for his article for The Oxford Encyclopedia of African Thought. His received Bachelor of Arts at the University of Ilorin in 1988. Several years later, he obtained Master of Arts in literature at the same University. After this, Abdul Rasheed traveled to Edmonton, Canada, to the University of Alberta where he obtained a Ph.D. in comparative literature.

This man is outstanding in many things. The former Director General of the NYSC, a Major General of the Nigerian army, a Coordinator of the Nigerian military aviation, he has also been the chief of cyber security department at the Defense Space Agency.
The General received his Bachelor’s degree from the Nigerian Defense Academy (1988) and went to further education at University of Ilorin where he received his M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (1997). In 2006, he also received a Master’s degree in defense studies at the University of London.
