Rumors regarding the University of Maiduguri school fees
Many students have already changed their mind and chose other institutions as universities of their choice, but the authorities came into contact with the audience and gave explanations some time ago.
They have claimed that there will be no increase in school fees in 2018/2019 and all the activities, common for the university, will go on without obstacles. As before, there will be a certain difference between the cost of schooling for freshers and for return students.

- Students who will study Accounting as freshers will need to pay N33,000
- Students who will study Agriculture (Agricultural Science, Education, Engineering, and Agricultural Management) as freshers will need to pay N33,000
- Students who will study Adult Education as freshers will need to pay N33,000
- Students who will study Anatomy as freshers will need to pay N33,000
- Students who will study Arabic Studies, Islamic Studies, Islamic/Sharia Law, Private and Islamic Law, Public and Private International Law as freshers will need to pay N33,000
- Students who will study Animal Science, Fisheries, Forestry and Wildlife, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology as freshers will need to pay N33,000
- Students who will study Biochemistry, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering as freshers will need to pay N33,000

UNIMAID school fees for returning students

Since everywhere in federal tertiary education institutions the order is the same, students pay less if they are already at the Level 200 or higher. The same works for the University of Maiduguri where returning students are able to pay almost one-half of the price for fresh students. Currently, the cost of studying if you are a returning student at UNIMAID makes N18,000.
