Man becomes a captain after spending 24 years in the aviation industry (photos)

It is always a thing of joy when one’s effort in a particular field is rewarded with promotion or career advancement. A Nigerian pilot was recently celebrated by his company.

The man identified as Mohammed Abubakar started work in the aviation industry as an aircraft cleaner but today, he was decorated as a captain.

According to a post shared on Twitter, Abubakar started his career 24 years ago, steadily working his way up the food chain to his prestigious rank as a captain.

Asked why she is working at such an old age, Cecilia explained that “Let everyone stop being lazy and idle. If we all work hard, we can end some of the financial constraints we are facing. However, no child will work hard without support and guidance from the parents,” she advised.
