Pep Guardiola's side came back from a two-goal deficit to defeat Bayern Munich 3-2 in their final pre-season match.
The Bavarians came out smoking as 19-year-old Meritan Shabani headed home a pin-point cross from Rafinha to make it 1-0.
Veteran winger Arjen Robben made it 2-0 after controlling a long pass with the side of his left-boot before applying the finish beyond Claudio Bravo.

But City fought back as Bernardo Silva pulled one back with a sublime finish, then England U-17 international Lukas Nmecha rebounded on a shot spilled by Sven Ulreich to make it 2-2.
Portuguese star Silva got the match-winner in the 70th minute picking his spot in the near side of Ulreich to finish the game 3-2 in favour of the Citizens.
Guardiola's men will now prepare for their season opener when they face Chelsea in the Community Shield at the Wembley Stadium on August, 5.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Manchester City's squad comprising England and Belgium players have cut short their post-World Cup holidays in a bid to be sharp enough for their title defence.
The players were allowed a 21-day break after their respective campaigns in Russia as they are expected back until next weekend's Community Shield final against Chelsea.
