Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi, was described as the poorest high profile political office holder in Nigeria by one of his close associates, Kingsley Wali.

Wali, when moderating a lecture on the pains and gains of leadership in honour of MKO Abiola, said Amaechi shared something in common with the late democrat.

He stated that the minister took all the pain for public interest and that was the reason why he is the poorest political officeholder in Nigeria.
